John HookhamAdrelia offers range of management advice, software, consulting and web based marketing services.

Adrelia provides software and implementation support for maintenance management systems. In addition the company offers a web site design service, photoshop graphics, copy and advertisment production, writing articles, sub-editing and website content management.

John Hookham, (pictured) works as a consultant, journalist and writer, he has a master's degree in maintenance engineering and a post graduate diploma in journalism. He founded and managed an engineering software company for eight years and then spent more than 10 years working with some of the world's leading enterprise software companies.

He has presented papers at numerous international conferences including Maintec (UK), Pulp and Paper (USA), Underhall (Sweden) and Manutenzione (Italy).

Has had articles and features published in Industrial Maintenance, Plant and Works Engineering, Works Management, Conspectus, Manufacturing Computer Systems, Evaluation Centre, Bulletin, Sweden Today, Electrical Review, The Manufacturer and has been commissioned to write for other specialist journals.

In simple terms, the website has been produced using the latest tools and techniques. The website design (menus, accessibility etc) conforms to all of the standards defined by the world wide web (W3C) consortium.

In technical terms, this website is written in XHTML with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), templates and nested CSS with 'liquid' layouts. The site also uses Javascript for certain functions and is W3C compliant for both XHTML 1.0 and CSS. XHTML 1.0 is a reformulation of HTML 4.01 in XML, and combines the strength of HTML 4 with the power of XML.

Several website viewing options are available (Default is Medium) together with a High Contrast layout for users who are visually impaired.
